Giving Tuesday 2020
Over a dozen artists, including Dashboard Confessional, Rozzi and Lake Street Dive sold virtual meet and greets on Giving Tuesday to benefit TAC and their work funding centers serving Black LGBTQ Youth.
We formed a Creative Coalition to speak out against discriminatory legislation in Texas. Signers included: Lady Gaga, Laverne Cox, Sting, Wilco, Ariana Grande, Jimmy Kimmel, Mark Ronson, Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Steinem and Jennifer Lawrence.
Since 2018 we’ve joined Frank on over half a dozen tours. Each stop featured TAC volunteers and the local organizations serving LGBTQ youth. In New Hampshire, Frank hosted a service project with fans assembling care packages for the youth of SeaCoast Outright.
Lauv founded the Blue Boy Foundation to make the world of mental health and treatment a more open and accepting place. The Foundation partners with other mental health non-profits and creates a direct call to action for those who need support.
TAC's 7th Annual Talent Show
The 7th Annual Talent Show was held on Twitch and raised over $350,000 for organizations serving Black LGBTQ Youth. The show featured musicians like Bleachers, Brittany Howard, The Chicks, and Lana Del Rey, comedians Kalen Allen, Aidy Bryant, and Reggie Watts and chef Rachael Ray.
Lena Horne Prize
The Lena Horne Prize’s week of programming included workshops produced with NYC high school students and City of New York and a Gala Dinner at Red Rooster. The award show featured performances from Andra Day and Leon Bridges, and remarks from Common, Questlove, Tamron Hall, Dolores Huerta, and Martin Luther King III.
Collaborating with Jack Antonoff to end LGBTQ discrimination.
TAC has engaged 100,000s of fans, raised over $2,400,000, and donated to over 90 nonprofits.
Produced many high profile events (LA, SXSW, NYC) with talent including Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, The Chicks, The National, Vampire Weekend, Hasan Minhaj, Phoebe Robinson, Sara Bareilles, Lena Dunham, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sarah Silverman, Bob Saget
Created multiple advocacy campaigns, eg. 40,000 signatures on a digital campaign with Janet Mock.
Support multiple tours with fan engagement with artists such as Troye Sivan, Bleachers
Developed strategic partnerships with brands such as Microsoft, Twitch, Toyota, Jet Blue, Korg and Shure.
Guided and collaborated with Fender Music to launch and manage a foundation ensuring youth access to music.
The Lena Horne Prize for Social Impact: Celebrating Solange Knowles
Created and produced first prize to recognize artists creating social impact.
2020 first year at Town Hall in NYC honored Solange.
Produced workshops with NYC High School Students and City of New York.
Produced Event Show with talent including: Common, Andra Day, Tamron Hall, Leon Bridges, Dolores Huerta, Angelique Kidjo, Martin Luther King III, Jon Batiste and Alice Smith.
Cultivated and managed strategic alliances, including: Color of Change, Afropunk and Salesforce.
Collaborating with artist LAUV to support initiatives around mental healthcare.
Developed strategic partnerships with Microsoft to build MyBlueThoughts.world, an online and full touring set up
Produced multiple virtual events with Lauv and management team to commemorate Mental Health Day and World Mental Health Month.
Raised over $500,000 and granted to organizations all over the world.
Supported multiple, international Lauv tours with fan engagement.
Developed a Mental Health Curriculum with the Jed Foundation.
Supported the Free and Equal Campaign through organizing events and building partnerships.
Worked with State Radio to create Calling All Crows to support women living in Sudan and Afghanistan and inspire public service. We directed strategy and operations, produced annual events and collaborated with an active board, staff and partners. We built a network of donors, corporations and nonprofits to volunteer 15,000 hours and raise $950,000 for organizations including Oxfam America and City Year.
Advised a team of funders, doctors and scientists to build a multi-million dollar organization to strengthen the local health care system in Madagascar.
The Dispatch Foundation
Worked with Dispatch to start foundation to support Zimbabwe. After helping coordinate three sold-out concerts at Madison Square Gardens, we established the organization, identified recipients and engage a fan community. Work included an evaluation trip to Zimbabwe and a Kennedy Center concert to honor Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai.
Started and managed ethical clothing company to reach $1,000,000 in sales to customers like Harvard, Wellesley College and the NFL. Rolls included creating strategies and building budgets to overseeing operations and cultivating partners.
